on the grounds on unreasonable behaviour! can divorce papers be drawn on the first appt? also he said his appt was with a local firm which I already had an appt booked with so should they not have known and told him to book else where, I've not eaten a thing today and I feel like im falling apart

dont know how releeny but when DS went to see a solicitor last christmas about accsess to DGD, he was told he had to go elsewhere as they were representing the mother!.

And when I went for divorce I had to go back to actually start the divorce.

I had my first appt with solicitors booked when ex dh tried to get an appt at the same firm and he was told to go elsewhere.

Sounds like solicitors you've made an appt with have made a mistake. If I were you I would go and find another solicitor. If they can make a mistake like that they probably aren't that efficient anyway.

I don't think divorce papers can be drawn at the first appt but they can certainly get the ball rolling. I think your dh's solicitors will probably make contact with you via letter to let you know on what grounds you are being divorced etc. Thats what my solicitors did to my ex dh anyhow.

Good Luck x
