My husband had an affair and this resulted in a baby. My husband was Forces and we had two children. We lived in SFA. I returned North with our children and he stayed down South. Within three months he moved his new partner and child in with him down South. He chose and negotiated all of the access he wanted. This worked well for the first year but then he asked if I would start doing some travelling. As I worked two jobs I informed him Italy's not be possible but if he wanted to reduce his child maintenance he could do. He applied for a special variation and this was granted to him and my child maintenance was reduced accordingly. After a year of this working well he has now applied to court to get me to do half of all travelling. I have since been made aware his request coincided with his new child commencing nursery at £800 per month. I work 7 days per week and only earn one quarter of what my ex and his new partner earn. They have their own home, two cars and are fine finally far better off than I. Will I be made to trave!?
