Childcare after divorce

Hi, me and my husband have recently seperates and have 3 DS’s aged 1-13. My ex is having them every other weekend and one night during the week. He’s agreed to pay maintenance amount that is set out on the child maintenance website but I’m confused around childcare. We both work full time and the two youngest DS’s are in childcare. Does he need to pay for the midweek day childcare on the day he has them overnight or do I? I have quite a hefty childcare bill and I’m not rolling in money so it would help of he did pay for his day or made alternative arrangements. I’ve not broached it with him yet. Thanks

Is he not paying 50%? They're his children he should be splitting the cost with you.

No, he’s not mentioned childcare at all, only thing he mentioned was how I’ll get 80% off childcare from child care element of Universal Credit.

At the very least he should be paying for the day he has them midweek and the Friday of his weekends.
