How much does it cost? Does it vary? How many sessions needed? Does it help?
Thank you

Hi,its costing us £60 per session and having 1 hour weekly.I'm not sure how many sessions are average for most couples .Its helping us talk about some difficult stuff rather than arguing. The counsellor is warm and friendly and is very good at allowing us both to have our say in a more productive way than us having a go at one another constantly.Although its hard I think its helpful particularly during this time when some of our normal coping strategies for stress arent accessible

@spottymcbotty thanks so much for your reply. I have contacted some organisations suggested on NHS website... they only offer online sessions. Are you having yours online too?

Im a therapist and I've been seeing couples in person all the way through Smile

£44-65 per hour I’d say. And it’s difficult to say how many- 6 would be the minimum I’d say and on average my couples were around 10-12 sessions but depends on the issues.

Far cheaper than a divorce though!!!

@snowman212 yes we are having ours via zoom and its actually much better than I expected it to be.I think it was online counselling website. You can see all the therapists and a brief background /experience on them all.You can either choose one or email some of the issues you'd like to address and they match you with someone. It was all very straight forward and quick .No probs if you have more questions
