Yes I'd go to the chemist

idontlikealdi · 21/03/2021 11:13

Yes a chemist. They will take you into a consultation room and ask a few questions.

Theodoreb · 21/03/2021 11:17

Thank you very much I'll go tomorrow when kids are in school

It will cost you if you go to a pharmacist (not cheap either!). GP or sexual health can do a telephone consultation and issue a free prescription. It is seen as an emergent so you will be able to speak to someone tomorrow

OurChristmasMiracle · 21/03/2021 11:21

No judgement here. Accidents happen. That’s what the MAP is for. You can buy it over the counter and some pharmacy’s will do it on the NHS- best to call first if you need it on the NHS to check it’s in stock.

OurChristmasMiracle · 21/03/2021 11:22

If your in London you can also order it online via sexual health London and it will be sent free next day delivery and there’s no cost for the pill either.

Firevixen · 21/03/2021 11:24

If you're in east sussex you can also order online for free. I think it's with sh:24 if you need to google.

greenfrogs1 · 21/03/2021 11:44

I don't think all chemists have it.

Put your postcode in here:

ThePricklySheep · 21/03/2021 11:45

It’s more effective the earlier you take it. Please try and go today.

Opentooffers · 21/03/2021 12:17

Asap, better not wait till tomorrow if can avoid it, pop to Boots, will cost about £15.

toomuchfaster · 21/03/2021 12:21

A local pharmacy will do it today, costs between free and £30 depending on what they have in stock. 111 will organise a prescription today for free. Please don't leave it till tomorrow as it more effective the sooner you take it.

Blueskytoday06 · 21/03/2021 12:27

I got mine from a Tesco pharmacy.

seensome · 21/03/2021 12:39

If you can go today then do it, if you've already ovulated then it may not stop pregnancy, depending where in the cycle you are.

Theodoreb · 21/03/2021 12:46

I'm very early in my cycle I'll go to boots today thanks for advice

Be ready to run to a toilet in the morning with the shits lol.

I remember when I took it I had to run... and the blood rushed to my head when I sat up (in that way where its behind your eyes and stops you seeing). And it took over a minute to clear! By that time I'd felt my way to the loo tf but I'm so glad I was in my own home haha.
