How to leave your partner

Things haven't been great in my relationship for thr last year... mainly hubby is a lazy b who does bot all for the kids and I genuinely feel like a single parent.

He does work hard but I know he would prefer a single life due to playing his games console constantly! It's driving me up the wall. I've addressed it and his response is well I'd just be sitting in lounge with kids watching there rubbish TV.... seems OK for me to watch it.

What did yous all put in place for leaving your partner? I've looking into bits and I could financially leave however we would need to sell the house so I would have a deposit for a new one. We share our money currently but he has no idea what goes in or out as I sort all the finances so I know I need to start splitting this. Who situation is just making me miserable. We haven't discussed separating but I know it's the right thing to do.
