Man here looking for honest views on what women consider intimacy in a relationship to actually entail.
I'm in a relationship with a great woman. She intelligent, warm, funny, gorgeous and sexy. I'm probably punching above my weight if I'm honest!
The problem is she never gets into any depth in our talks. Won't speak about her past, unless I ask a direct question then deflects the topic elsewhere. I tell her everything I think, feel, have experienced in life good and bad and she seems interested and asks questions. She is a closed book. With time to reflect since lockdown when we haven't spent as much time together, I can see there is an intimacy missing. Of opening up and being vulnerable, which I have done. The physical side of intimacy is great, no problems there. She is very happy and makes a point of reaffirming this.
Whats going on?
