Lockdown Dating

So within the rules I have been dating a lovely guy, social distanced walks etc, we've got to the point we have formed a bubble, as we are both allowed to do.

My only question seems odd, but while we aren't yet ready to label us as boyfriend/girlfriend how can i confirm as we are bubbling up it is at least exclusive? With bubbling up comes physical contact and i want to just confirm that the physical contact is the exclusive bit? How the hell do I phrase that one?

Well you have an adult discussion about it??

Is your worry that he is meeting other people while bubbled with you or you want to be exclusive sexually?

Yes I'm prepared to have an adult discussion about it, was just wondering how to bring that up.

I prefer to be sexualy exclusive... while we might still be little more than dating, I'm not into having multiple sexual partners at the same time

Just say exactly what you say in your second paragraph. It’s actually not too much to ask at all!

RosieGuacamosie · 01/03/2021 12:47

Are you sleeping with him at the moment? Why don’t you just speak to him about it and say you don’t do sleeping with multiple people?

honeysuckle21 · 01/03/2021 12:48

Let the conversation take its course? I assume you haven't got physical yet, when he asks to see you with that intention, then say are we exclusive? Because I'm not comfortable seeing you otherwise. If he can't confirm that then don't trust him.

If you feel uncomfortable because of the strangeness of the situation, I would just initiate the conversation by acknowledging that. Maybe just open with 'So I know we might not usually have a conversation about XYZ until blah blah blah BUT, because of Covid, things are a bit different...'
