Dp arrived back with dd today, and when I opened the door, said "You're looking older you know" Then he went on, "but you are attractive. You've got very good bone structure. If you looked after yourself a bit, shed some weight, you could be a model"

Guess it's nice he thinks I have some potential under the excess stones of weight, but how RUDE!

an d the body is where?

Hekate · 03/11/2007 20:09

That is just begging for a remark about how good a lover he'd be if only his willy was bigger.

A classic case of someone who doesn't realise that when you're in a hole you should stop digging...

oldbutattractive · 03/11/2007 21:30

Hekate, I may try that one on him!
Armadillo, he had a lucky escape, I was too taken aback to react appropriately!

I shall just try and concentrate on the fact that if i wasn't so ancient (and looking it, as it turns out, contrary to my short sighted belief!), or so fat, I could be beautiful!!!

"You're doing a great job in bringing her up. She's a lovely little girl. She's very kind. She must get it from her father."

Thank you MIL.

I was about size 12 at the time!

a lover once said to me....'i can't stand women with cellulite'...'i know you've got it too, but you wear yours well' - WTF????

TinyGang · 04/11/2007 10:52

Oh yes do give him the 'bigger willy' comment!

Men though! They just do not get it do they?!

MIL to me 'I'm sure I'd look much worse than you do if I had all that to cope with'

littlerach · 04/11/2007 11:14

Brocoliospears, I can relate t that one:
" Goodness, so she is doing very well at school. That must be form (dh)".

Erm, yep, couldn't possibly be down to my intelligence/education/etc.

Sheesh. Gets me every time. MIL that is!

This one from my mother

on the day that I got into Oxford Uni. I was standing next to her and she said to her friend, 'Yes, we are glad to get the result, she (pointing to me) has been very difficult to live with in the last few weeks'

Bitch
