I’d like a thread for how those of us who are single/separated/divorced/heartbroken or alone for any reason. I’d like this thread to be about US and how we are going to spend today. Let’s ‘forget’ about our exes for the day & think about how we can be good to ourselves.

What lovely thing will you do for yourself today?

I baked a cake, so I will have a piece of that! I will also get outside for a walk & come home to a warm milky coffee.

I celebrated V day by remembering all the reasons I am single and happy being single.

Good for you @GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing

That’s lovely @RealisRare

I ended up feeling pretty down (despite all my great intentions setting up this thread!HmmSmile) so I comfort-ate & comfort-watched & took a sleep aid to get to sleep!

I think being single is wonderful & perfectly valid. Who says everyone has to be in a relationship! But I really do want a life partner & I don’t want to be longterm single. I know there are many other aspects to life too though & I am doing my best to explore those.
