Silk hair ties

I started styling my hair recently after years of leaving my hair down. I have different hair styles every day. I might wear a plait one day, or pigtail plaits another day or my favourite are hair buns. When I make a bun in my hair I use a hair tie tie up my hair into a ponytail and then I use a bun maker like a doughnut bun.

Yesterday I experienced a very bad headache in the evening time. I put it down to the change in weather because it wasn't the first time a change in the weather brought on a very bad headache.

I can't be 100% certain that the headache was caused by the cold weather. Maybe the tight ponytail was another culprit. I don't know.

I don't like a loose ponytail. I use a hair elastic and two wraps around the hair is too loose. Tigress wraps seems to be about right for me.

There was another evening or two where I experienced a bad headache. I'm thinking maybe a tight ponytail may have contributed.

I read something online about a silk hair tie and I read about a brand called London silke. They are expensive bands. I'm asking would they be worth it? Would I be able to tie up my hair and would it minimise a headache from a tight style?

Sorry, this was not supposed to be posted in relationships. This was supposed to go into the style & beauty

I thought this was going to be about using them very differently.

Can't say I'm not disappointed.

I thought exactly the same!

Could you try these?

Do you have thick hair? I do and if I wear it up high for any length of time I will get a headache, then when I take it out I get sore hair (if you know you know!!)

Thanks for the reply. I used to have thick hair when I was younger. It's definitely thinning now. It's not as thick any more.

I work my hair in a braid today and that helped.

I'm practicing some chopstick buns now so I hopefully I can avoid wearing a hair elastic.

I have some silk hair ties ordered too so hopefully that will help too.

I use silk hair bands now, game changer for long or thick hair. Loads more comfortable !
