Why is it the person you loved the most for years, who treated you like rubbish but you put up with it because you have children and didnt want to break up the family home, they can just walk away, move in with someone new, pay sweet FA towards the house they had with you, pay the very bare minimum for their child? They can live the life of luxury in a brand new (and I mean brand new) house with new partner, eat well, full time work and get away with it all? How does that work? How can that be justified?

Why is it the bad person always wins no matter how hard you fight? They always come out smelling of roses. Well he does. I think ive just run out of hope today....

Sorry I've no idea but didn't want to read and run. Karma's a bitch, if you treat people like shit that tends to come back on you in the end. Don't give it any headspace. It may look like his life is good but he's obviously a toxic prat which means he and the people around him will never be really happy. Don't be bitter, don't continue to let him have that power over you. He'll get his just desserts in the end, you just need to let it play out xx

Were you married to this person? Not being married puts you in a v vulnerable position to breakups.

But the emotional stuff... have you thought about seeing a counsellor or therapist? You shouldn't ever feel like you have to put up with being treated badly.
