A person who is happy as long as they are with their partner on their own but kicks 🦵🏻 ff when partner wants to spend time with their kids, family members and friends , even as a couple? To the extent that there are threats of leaving, screaming, tears and stonewalling? Is there a name for that? The person is very happy and loving but only when the couple is on their own .

Manipulative

pog100 · 13/01/2021 16:54

Not a lot to go on there. I would guess abusive, paranoid, attention seeking, immature, controlling bastard. Though further information may change that opinion

WhateverTheySay · 13/01/2021 16:56

Twat

Aquamarine1029 · 13/01/2021 16:56

Manipulative, controlling, potentially dangerous arsehole. Run for your life.

PistolKnight · 13/01/2021 16:56

Abusive

They do not see their partner as a person, their partner is their possession. Very scary indeed.

JorisBonson · 13/01/2021 16:58

Abusive cunt.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 13/01/2021 16:59

The Ex

MsConstrue · 13/01/2021 17:00

Controlling and Abusive I'd say.

broomer · 13/01/2021 17:01

The person I am describing is female. Also jealous and fearful of infidelity for no good reason. Paranoid

The Ex
Beat me to it.
Aquamarine1029 · 13/01/2021 17:05

If this woman is your partner, you need to get the hell out of there.

AmandaHoldensLips · 13/01/2021 17:07

Possessive.

The person sees their "partner" as their property.

Wanderlusto · 13/01/2021 17:11

Abusive.

Women can be abusers too.

It's manipulative in the extreme. Sounds like she could have borderline personality disorder or similar.

Definately a run for the hills scenario.

Sakurami · 13/01/2021 17:12

Possessive, controlling, abusive. Leave.

youvegottenminuteslynn · 13/01/2021 17:14

Possessive, abusive, jealous, manipulative.

Regardless of their sex.

Babysharkdoodoodood · 13/01/2021 17:17

Dumped.

LindaEllen · 13/01/2021 17:20

A dick

FilledSoda · 13/01/2021 17:53

Being female doesn't change the fact that it's abusive .

QuarkIsGreat · 13/01/2021 18:08

Codependent. And yes, twatty and manipulative.
