Question for those in long term relationships

Hi,
I have a question for those in a long term relationship.
I have been with my husband 11 years. We have an almost 2 year old now. When he was born I remember people warning me that your sex life tends to dwindle down. I’ve had many people say to me since I’ve been with partner x amount of years the sex life just won’t be what it was.

They’re right. It’s not like it was. It’s so much better. Husband recently commented that he felt sex life had massively improved in the last year. We’ve both become more confident in ourselves and happier with our own appearances which has enhanced our attraction.
How many of you in a long term relationship feel sex has improved? MN frequently has people complaining that the physical side of the relationship has been neglected so I’m interested to see if there are many people out there whose sex has improved. Please just ignore this whole post if you do not want to talk about your own sex life as I know it’s personal. Also I’m definitely not one of those t*s from daily mail.

Well, that’s good for you (both).

I wouldn't say the frequency is what it was, but the quality has definitely improved.

Yep, the quality of our sex life has definitely improved over time, but the quantity can still be an issue! With us both working shifts and a still co-sleeping 7 year old, it can be difficult to find time for sex.
