How will I ever meet anyone?

Split up with my EXH 3 years ago. Met someone and we've been in contact on and off ever since. Hes now saying he doesnt want anything serous or to commit.
I have 3 girls aged 6, 14 and 18, its very diffucult to introduce anyone into our family (or is that just me?)
I feel like I will never meet anyone, im 39

Nobody ever thinks "I'm drowning in possible happiness but choosing not to take it" You will meet someone, but not while you want to. That is shit, but it always happens when you're not expecting it.

I think you get on with your life and just keep yourself open to the opportunity of meeting someone. Be busy, engaging, interested and involved. Take whatever chance to meet new people that presents itself: accept that dinner invite, ask people round to yours, join that committee, tell your friends you are interested in meeting someone eligible!
