Was he flirting?

Im a bit naive relationship wise.

My co worker and I were laughing because I wore an ugly Christmas jumper. He said ‘you’re the only person who can make that look good’.

I cant tell if he was just being nice or flirting?

Probably a bit of both

Pipandmum · 24/12/2020 21:38

Being nice.

Absolutely no way of telling without actually being there, so you tell us. Was he flirting, or being nice?

Givemeabreak88 · 24/12/2020 22:15

Could be either

If someone you were compatible with was flirting, you wouldn't have to ask MN because you'd 'get' them.

If he was flirting, he'll make it clearer if you don't get the message.

You're confused about his communication style when there isn't even a relationship! Clear messages will come if he's someone you could be happy with.

Could be a bit flirty.

But then again I could say that to my pal if she wore a hideous jumper. I don’t fancy her. And it is unlikely I’d say it, but possible.

So it could go either way! Just wait and see what happens next if you’re into your coworker.
