Frustrated at how bf is treated

He has this friend who has cancelled on him 3 times in a row, if it were Covid related ok but from what I understand it isn't, or other times we have met her she 'forgets' all about it and arrives an hour late.
Another one he travelled 1h30 to meet and the friend messaged him at the last minute after he had set off saying he couldn't meet, no valid reason given.
The 2nd friend it's annoying but hopefully just a one-off, but the first friend I wouldn't bother with any more.
He's been treated badly at work and in previous relationships, spoken to like rubbish, treated badly by a parent too.
He's so nice and easy-going, not aggressive at all. He's confided in me about stuff and it just upsets me how he's treated and spoken to.
He's an adult and makes his own choices obviously just wondered what I could do to help him? He hasn't asked for advice or help and maybe it's not my place, but I don't want him to be treated this way anymore.
