Kik messenger 'not installed on this device'

Would this mean he's got it installed on another device?
I know what kik messenger is, it's not great. Unless I'm mistaken and there's an innocent reason to use it?
On playstore for Android you can see what apps have been installed in the past and will say 'not installed' but this kik messenger says its not installed on this device..... He gave his old phone to our son but I know he uses his own Google account and doesn't have kik on his phone.
Any advice please?

He has an email from 2014 confirming an account being opened. But nothing recent. Thing is the app is at the top of the list, which makes it seem its a recent download

I don't have android I have always had iPhones but I assume they work the same way. When you look back through my downloaded apps you can see all of the apps I have ever downloaded since 2012. Some I still have like Facebook, some I haven't had for years.

My apps are in alphabetical order, not order of installation.

Is it one of those things that you can remove the app and then put it back on when you want to use it again, and still have the same account?

There's a button to change between alphabetical and recent.

Mines does that to any app I’ve had previously under my account. So could have been from years ago.

I used to have kik for gaming reasons. I could message people in my team without giving out my number.

Well kik is the "affair" messenger tool.... When you log out it wipes all message history but not the contacts. So he has had it at some point. Its a well known messenger app within the sex community.... That and wire.

Often used imby kids instead of WhatsApp on tablets, or phones with no SIM card. Do you have any DC with a tablet that might have it on their device?

You say it's top of the list but do you know how recently the one below it was last used. I only ask because very near the top of my list is an app I haven't used for 5 years but that's because I rarely delete apps

My xh used this to contact people on sex websites behind my back and he would then delete the app. When I found it, I think it said when it was last used in Google settings. Obviously I got a whole load of bollocks but he used it for stranger sex because you don't give out your number or name. Can you get into his Google account and have a rummage, because he will deny, minimise, and gaslight you

I'm going to try again on my phone and see if I can find a way of seeing when apps were last used.
I know he'll deny it if I talk to him. I'm so sad

It doesn't mean it's downloaded on another device at all, just that it's not on that particular one.

He has a specific car interest but not gaming. But he uses motor forums and Facebook to chat to his friends and others with similar interests.

On my iPhone under apps not on this phone is all the apps I’ve downloaded and deleted starting with the most recent first

Sorry that should be most recently downloaded, anything I had on my phone in 2017 for example and also more recently is under the date I first downloaded it

My exH used to install and delete...when it's reinstalled it retains all contacts, only the chat is deleted
