Bit of backstory: Bf and I are moving in to new house in 2 weeks. He's in the army and working away for a while so won't be here for the move in. He owns a house but is barely there so not much furniture or anything really. I'm moving out of my parent's so all I've got is some bedroom furniture and a few bits of home decor.
Any advice on what I need to buy for the new house? I've got the basics like a few things for the ktichen, things for the bathroom, bedding, towels etc and furniture is being delivered in a few weeks but I'm sure there's things I can't think of that are always forgotten in house moves. Also any tips for moving are very much appreciated! Feeling quite overwhelmed as my parents are both unwell so can't help.
We've a decent budget for these extra bits and I'd love some recommendations of plates, mugs and anything else really! Just remembered we need some lights too!
