Missing DC

Wanted to share where others might know how i feel.
My children are with their dad for a couple of days (divorced). I know they are well cared for etc, and I am generally used to the routine, but sometimes it hits me just how much i miss them. I was really snappy last night with them so i feel particularly bad that i can't see them for a cuddle until the weekend.

I didn't want to read and run, op.

I share custody of mine with exh 50/50 and it is bloody hard. I miss them when they're not with me. I carried them for 9 months, birthed them, was their sole carer almost until the split.

But I look at it as a positive that I have some "me" time, I can do hobbies/study, see friends without worrying about a babysitter etc

But yes, I miss them dearly.

I know exactly how you feel lovely! I'm always snappy with mine before she goes too and then feel terrible. Try to rest, drink wine and have some time for yourself as much as possible. They'll soon be back and you won't have a minute to yourself again

Thanks omg. You are right, time does go quickly and then they'll be back.
