Moving into partners flat/house

Been here 8 months and whatever we do to it it still feels like 'his' flat.
We're thinking of moving (he just wants me to be happy) but it's a nice flat it just doesn't feel like home.
Anyone else feel like this ? Does it get better ?

Does he own it? Is it rented? If he owns it, are you going on the mortgage?

Two options. Either you redecorate throughout together, using both your accumulated stuff. Or you move somewhere new.

It would feel like that if you owned and decorated it. Otherwise, it can feel a bit like being a lodger.

However, it isn’t forever. If your relationship goes well, you could take the next step of buying a place together.

Well it IS his flat if he owns it . Or if it’s only his name on the tenancy agreement.
