Non Molestation Order Proceedings

Hi all -
Has anyone ever had experience of NMO proceedings being consolidated ahead of family court proceedings?
Just wanted to understand the process. My ex is trying to get an NMO discharged, and there is children proceedings about to start also. CAFCASS have recommended that NMO proceedings are consolidated with a fact finding.
Does anyone have any experience of this ?
