Defining abuse

Hello,
So I’m keeping this vague but can domestic abuse now be classified as being between mum and daughter? I’ve read on a few sites that any family member can inflict domestic abuse and it’s more than physical violence but I just wanted some affirmation or clarification if I’m thinking this is the case between parent and child.

TIA

In law, yes, depending on specifics. Like age of the daughter.

I'd be interested to know this too. Age is very important. How old is your daughter and what does she do?

I think this may have been misunderstood. I meant if a mother is abusing the daughter can it be considered as domestic abuse?

I would say that’s just plain child abuse if she’s young, if she’s older however then yes, domestic abuse. Are they living together ?

Yes, elder abuse is a thing. How old is the mother and is the daughter her carer ?
