Me and my new boyfriend have been together for 5 months. He's having some personal issues and at rock bottom. He says he needs space, alone time to think. He's currently staying around mine this weekend and went out this morning at 11, said he'd be back in an hour. It's now been 4 hours and I've had no contact. I'm worried about him and I'm also mad I've had no text. Should I ring him? What should I say? Or should I leave him as he mentioned he needed space?

If he said he would be back in an hour I would call

TwilightSkies · 17/10/2020 15:02

I’d ring him, if he’s at rock bottom and hasn’t returned. It’s not fair to put you through this stress.

2020wish · 17/10/2020 15:28

Ring him. But if he picks up just reassure him you are just checking in that he’s ok as you have been worried and don’t want to rush him home or invade his space but that you have available and here if he needs you and just make sure he’s ok

Did he say he needed space before he went to yours this weekend? Did he say where he was going?

I'd probably give it til teatime then text/call.

PurpleDaisies · 17/10/2020 15:32

I’d give it until tea time and ring.

@Hann22 did you get hold of him?

Hann22 · 17/10/2020 20:48

No because he turned up shortly after. He broke up with me too. Sad
