Virtual Speed Dating, anyone?!

I'm sick of swiping. I want to actually speak to some men. Thought about Speeddater as they do online events in my area. Seems to have got some crap reviews though. Are there any alternatives worth the money?

Speeddater events are expensive, considering it is all online.

Ooh i was thinking about doing this! Speedatable are cheap but have no reviews on there site, i couldnt decide if it was legitimate or not.

Oh and they have a very bad reputation.

This is just one of them:

^Underhand, borderline fraudulent company. They never explain, flag up, or highlight that they sign you up to monthly subscription, no email acknowledgment, no receipt, payment to a different company in London. Office in Malta.
Dodgy practice that have purportedly been reported to Trading Standards but still using this technique to extort money^
