Gut feeling?

So it's not a massive deal, but I few times I've had a gut feeling something was off, and it's been right all those times. Example being... my boyfriend comes over on certain nights and one day I just woke up with a feeling that he wasn't going to that day, I didn't really have any reason to think that, just a gut feeling. He has a horrible habit of telling me last minute about things which drives me mad but that's another issue... but it turned out my gut was right.

So this morning I woke and there it is... my gut feeling something isn't right. Nothing major, don't think he's cheating nothing like that... just the feeling he wants to tell me he can't see me later.
It's doing my head in! It's overwhelming.

Also had it with friends when supposed to be meeting up, I always get a gut feeling they will cancel, and it's always right.

So my question is... what do you think about gut feelings? Intuition? Is it always right for you?

I get these, it always seems to be right. Doesn't even have to be anything bad, sometimes I just get a gut feeling to go a different way home because the traffic is bad. If I ignore it then I end up paying the consequences.

It's a weird one but I do believe that you should always go with your gut. It's never wrong.

Yes. I've had these with the guy I was seeing...you are normally correct.

It's never wrong. Never.

Always trust your gut. It never lets you down

True gut feeling, yes.

Sometimes it's really fear or wishful thinking rather than intuition.

AnaViaSalamanca · 12/10/2020 14:16

Sometimes your subconscious mind draws conclusions based on previous experiences. For example, maybe your boyfriend usually goes silent before trying to cancel, so when you sense the silence you can guess whats coming.

Other times it's mostly confirmation bias. You remember the instances it worked, not the majority of times it didn;t.

Nobody has superpowers.

I believe in gut instinct but I also believe in the law of attraction. Whereby because you are thinking it you’re attracting it to happen if that makes sense?

It’s never ever wrong. Ever. All the times I’ve ignored it or been cajoled in to ignoring it, it’s been a terrible mistake.
