Does anyone have a quiet DP?

Driving home from visiting family 4 hours away and only a few words spoken. Same with the journey on the way 😔 The lack of conversation seriously drives me crazy at times!

Oh my DP is like this if he’s driving. Or if I’m driving he’ll be asleep a second after he’s put his seatbelt on. I’m quite a chatterbox whereas he likes to sit and chill quietly for a bit when he gets in from work for example.

Like a pp it makes me think I’ve done something to annoy him so I end up asking if he’s okay 20 times. And then he does get annoyed having to tell me he’s fine and just enjoying some quiet time!

@wombat1a why would it be people wittering on and on? How about people having a normal conversation
