Hi

Just wondering how often people see their partners (not living together )

I’ve been with my partner for 3 years but we’ve broke up during this time.. I live alone and he lives with family .

We see each other usually about 3 times a week , and he spends the night each time.

As i live alone I feel that sometimes I would like him here every night however not sure that is the ‘norm’

Every day for about an hour . Never spend the night together though
This has been going on four years. First two years we would spend weekends together but t ones have gone from bad to worse since then

Together four years and only really see each other Saturday into Sunday so one night a week. More if we've time off work.

How old are the both of you? Why is he living with his parents/family?

Notcoolmum · 15/09/2020 06:45

Why don't you live together after 3 years?

ItWasntMyFault · 15/09/2020 06:48

Usually Friday and Saturday nights. Occasionally during the week. Been together 7 years.

Once or twice a week, varying from a few hours in the evening to all weekend, depending on what else is going on especially with the kids. Been together 2 years and both live with our teenagers.

Once per week. Tends to be one of us visits the other one weekend, then the opposite way around the next. Been this way for 4+ years and suits us both just fine.

We pretty much live together between our two houses. I have teenagers (16+) that I don't like to leave more than one night on their own so we spend 4-5 nights here across the week. It helps that we both wfh at the moment so there are no commuting considerations. Every other week we are apart for 2 nights as he has his children EOW and so he works at his house on a Friday ready to pick the kids up for school and I come over on Saturday afternoon. Been together 18 months and this routine started after lockdown so fairly recent. Before lockdown we saw each other a couple of times during the week ( just a couple of hours) and every weekend (although not all weekend).

One visit on a weeknight (usually a few hours) and one overnight at the weekend. Been doing this for 3.5 years now and no plans to change it.

Don't live together as we are both over 50, don't want to start a family, both busy (he has a 10yo). Can't think of any advantages to living together.
