That is neither an abusive narcissist or too vanilla?!!! I'm not in a stage where I want a relationship yet.. But my exP I met at the gym and he's an abusive violent thug, my neighbours watched my little girl this morning whilst I went to my new local gym, got chatting to a guy who was very good looking and pretty much exactly my type.. But he's so vanilla.. And dare I say it... Boring :( just completely reactive conversation.. Don't have the time or inclination to be the only one to strike up conversation.. I'm steering clear of gym blokes period lol. Just wondering how one meets a man whose a little bit in the middle, not an abusive pig but also not a walkover..

What do you mean by 'vanilla'?

Well he's just a bit boring, no opinion, no personality.. Vanilla can be used in that context. I don't mean it in the sexual context as I wouldn't know lolz

I know that, if you read my post properly I'm asking how does one meet a man that's in the middle therefore different.

I completely understand why you wouldn't want someone boring or boring to you. Do you have a habit of finding charismatic, alpha types attractive? Men who 'know how to treat a lady' and sweep you off your feet?

Have you tried looking in pubs or the workplace?

I have read your post properly but it doesn’t make sense.

You meet men in the middle same place as you meet thugs or people you find boring.
