I have been a member of Mumsnet for a few years and I have posted about various issues I have faced with my “husband”
I have received so much support and advice and I finally left him yesterday!
I feel so strong and relieved and happy!
I want to say thankyou to everyone you have no idea how much of a rock I have found Mumsnet, everyone that gave me advice, anyone that just commented to say they could hear me, anyone that told me I wasn’t insane, anyone that told me I was doing the right thing. I don’t think I could have had the strength to do this without you guys! Mad isn’t it,,,,chatting to people you have never and will never meet gives you such strength!
Thankyou guys, thankgod we have this amazing place to come and there is always someone heat to listen, no matter what the issue xx

That's fabulous news! Thank you very much for the update. I think MN is totally epic - I've been telling my teen daughters, it's like this incredible pool of (mostly) female wisdom, knowledge, love and support.

That's great to read OP!

I wish MN had been around in my younger days! would have saved much heartache and feeling alone with my problems.

SoulofanAggron · 13/09/2020 12:06

Well done OP. I agree, MN has really helped me. Stay strong and don't let him talk you round. xx

KirstyHasLeft · 13/09/2020 13:06

Yes, I agree with OP and would also like to say huge thank you to you all!
A year ago I was an absolute mess, asking for your advice here and now - one year later, I am divorced and free (still a mess, probably, though :D )
I sometimes look back and wonder - where did I get the courage to do this? And it was definitely thanks to your support and advice! :)
