Contact for 2 year old with ASD

Thought I would post here for traffic.

What should contact look like for a almost 2 year old with a possible ASD diagnosis. DD is currently non verbal, exp hasn't ever been part of her routine, putting to bed etc nor is he able to read her cues with stuff like hunger etc.

We are currently in court, there are other factors as exp was abusive but court doesn't seem to care. So I'm trying to get an idea on what sort of contact I could be looking at and trying to get ahead of him as I know they'll grant him something.

Unless you have a diagnosis then i very much doubt that they will consider it sorry to say. As for not having been hands on or knowing her cues unfortunately that is quite common contact would usually start off as regular short visits to build up a good relationship and then onto overnight visits and then anything between every other weekend to 50-50 im afraid.
If your ex was abusive to your dc and you can prove it then the court will take that into account and may require supervised visits to start with, otherwise they just don't care.
I'm sorry that you are in this situation as it's really not right but the courts think that a relationship with the father is more important.
