Hi, maybe someone can help us out here.My husband has 5 sisters and we only really see them at occasions.One lives over the road which we hardly ever see.We were always calling over there but got fed up coz it was always one way.We recently went to a family occasion and they all barely spoke to us.
Recently we found out one of his sisters has bought a house over the road and her children have started in the local school and they didnt tell us.We heard this from someone else.We felt like complete idiots as we expect good news to be told to us.We found out all the rest of the sisters knew and we didnt. Then on the family chat, they all started talking about how the kids got on at school etc and we didnt even know a thing about my husbands niece starting in the school.
We got so mad we ended up leaving the family chat and have decided to stay away from the family.My husband has no mam and dad as they were very unsupportive when they were growing up, so there is no family home to go to.
The sisters expect us to do all the running and we have been faced with negative comments from them over the past while.we have had enough and we see deeply upset by all this.we gave a child who will be in the same class as this sisters child and imagine not telling us she is moving to the area.
We appreciate any advice on this problem.
