Just wanted to know if this is common

Partner watches porn but the women in the open look nothing like me at all. The actually resemble his ex.

It make me feel physically sick. He doesn't know I've gone through his phone.

Does he actively search for ‘brunette with short hair’ or is it just that his ex looks more like porn women tend to look?

I think it was paranoia, low self esteem maybe on my part sure he wouldn't be with you if he wanted his ex !! Stop giving him and his porn so much brain space it's something I struggle with but I'm making strides in putting me first and try stop snooping it'll only wreck your head

I don't think closing your eyes during sex means you're thinking about someone else.

Tbf pretty much all men and women close their eyes during sex.

Why do you think that ? Just asking out of interest now not being cheeky ,surely if he has texted the ex saying that then closing his eyes (which I think most guys do ) probably makes her feel he's imagining he's with the ex
