If your ex partner has asked for a mandatory reconsideration on the amount he's been asked to pay, is he still liable to pay said amount whilst CMS is reconsidering?

I don’t work for them, but I believe that the CMS will advise the person paying to continue to transfer the old amount whilst it’s being reviewed.

He should have had a letter confirming that they’re reviewing the amount, and it’ll state in there what he should be doing about existing payments.

When they ask for this, it means they can't make changes to your account. It is a delaying tactic that many parents use to prevent payment.

Yes the paying parent is still meant to pay the amount whilst it is looked at again.

What was the reason for the maintenance to be reconsidered ?
