Sleepless but not in Seattle

I’m awake!

My marriage ended and I have some COVID worries & I’m concerned that I’m getting so little rest and am just ‘slowly drifting’ as the song goes.

I’m too tired to even know what advice I want. I’m curled up in bed on Mumsnet and sleep has become a luxury. Makes me so sad! But I also feel crazy and hyper!

How long ago did you split up? What were the reasons for it?

It's a nightmare when you're tired but can't doze off, you probably have too much on your mind

Any worries you have always seem worse in the middle of the night when you're mulling them over and over - usually by the morning the worry load is lightened a little.

I hope you eventually get some sleep especially if you have to get up for work in the morning! Maybe make yourself a cup of tea.

Thank you. Recently separated. I don’t want sleeping pills but I feel like a zombie from not sleeping.
