Vagina Rejuvenation

Hey I'm new here

Ok I had a big long story written and managed to delete it - gutted!! Basically I'm a mummy to two gorgeous babes aged 11 and 7. Both where big babies weighing in at 9lb1 and 9lb2 respectively my second was a very traumatic birth leaving us with a NICU journey.

Since the births I've always felt loose below (sorry tmi) and self conscious and kinda hoped it would get better over the years with excersize etc but it never did, this has lead to problems in the bedroom with me feeling self conscious whereas Hubby just wants me to be comfortable and to enjoy sex as much as he does. Since giving birth sensations reduced and can only feel hubby in certain positions. I've been looking into some different options to help on and off over the years but never felt comfortable within myself to go for it. I'm only 30 and sex is a big part of our relationship.

On one of my recent Google's I came across Vagina Rejuvenation which basically sounds like a Miracle, claims to tighten, enhance sex life and a improvement to incontinence which after two babies sounds like it's too good to be true. The fact it take 20 mins is pain free and no downtime sounds like a dream.... hubby has never complained and I'm so lucky to have him, he's so chill and when I spoke to him he's like if it will make you feel better then go for it.

I was hoping that in the Mumsnet universe there are people out there with real reviews. The ones coming through on google all seem to be celebrity endorsements or have different issues to me (my main focus is tightening)

Oh gosh I'm so embarrassed writing this on here I'm a delightful shade of purple but any experiences or story's I would love tm bear real unbiased opinions

Thanks for reading

Please get kegel 8 ! It's fantastic I've had 5 children and I'm to my husbands delight but only from using this . You use a gel with it and it feels strange but it really really works I promise 💋

Kegels are the thing, sceptical about your painless quick fix. I did loads after having my son which caused a 3rd degree tear - nothing like the threat of incontinence to make you get on with it. More sensation than had pre baby and works well since.

I've been doing a kegel app for the last few weeks (following a recomendation on here). Have had low-level hip pain (and a terrible pelvic floor -x3 babies between 9lb4 and 10lb) for years. Is really helping with that.

So I agree with the pp - first you work on your pelvic floor before surgery.

If it sounds too good to be true it is. True vagina rejuvination involves proper surgery.
I'd go for the kegel and if that doesn't work speak to your GP.

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to look at kegal8 right now - I have a consultation today about the Nu-V but at 500 a session it seems pricey if it doesn't work!

Again I agree with the if it sounds too good to be true then it usually is!

Is there a particular one you recommend there seems to be a few. I'm going to do some research as well but if you have any recommendations as to which one I'd appreciate it

Thanks again guys - nice to see I'm not the only one BlushGrin

@Tryingtobemybestself did you go for the nu-v? I'm considering it but finding reviews difficult to come be. I already have the kegel 8

Sex aside for a moment, if you experience incontinence THIS IS NOT NORMAL and you don’t have to just accept it as supposedly one of those things that all women who’ve given birth have to endure. Honestly, the Tena Lady adverts which try to normalise it drive me insane.

Pelvic floor and Kegal exercises will definitely help with both the incontinence and improving the sensation you get from sex. The USA’s FDA has major concerns with vagina rejuvenation procedures which involve laser and energy-based treatments and has cautioned users about safety issues and lack of proven efficacy, so approach with caution.

Rhica · 14/01/2021 06:20

Thanks for the information and concerns .

Unfortunately I'm feeling a little desperate with kegels and the kegel8 showing little improvement so far. And with surgery having a high failure rate and long recovery time there feels to be limited options 😭

I'm going to wait 12 months and am under physio therapy but life feels in limbo and I can't be the mum I should be to by children 😭
