Sorry if this is a bit rambly, I haven’t slept properly for weeks.

This has been building for a while. A mixture of work stress, death of a parent, illness of other parent. He’s been looking after vulnerable family members since the beginning of the pandemic alongside working full time. It’s now got to the point he can’t cope with anything.

He’s had to take time off work and has subsequently resigned. He won’t talk to me. I’m trying to do everything I can to keep things together.

I’m not sleeping or eating because I’m so worried about everything, worried about him, worried about money and paying all bills. And I don’t know how to help him.

How can I help if he won’t talk to me? He’s been to the drs about 5 times over the last 3 weeks so he is trying to help himself but nothing has helped so far. I know he needs to completely shut off and get himself better but I don’t know how much longer I can keep doing this trying to keep everything together myself.

Anyone been through similar?
