Heartbreak...

I see a lot of threads on here which talk about heartbreak when a relationship ends.

Is there anyone else who has never had their heart broken?

I've had relationships end and I experience brief sadness sometimes but I'm quite pragmatic about it - I'd rather someone ended a relationship with me than stayed with me out of a sense of duty or fear of response. I went with the 'no one is owed a relationship' line long before I'd read it on here.

But I find that, when a relationship ends, I just get on with the rest of my life. I've never felt heartbroken.

Are some people more likely to experience heartbreak than others or is it simply a reflection of the nature of the relationship do you think?

Some people claim to be heartbroken and devastated after very short relationships and, on occasion, after only a handful of dates.
