Pregnancy swollen tummy

Hey all, I'm currently 8/9 weeks pregnant with my 3 child. I don't know whether I'm being over anxious but I'm worried something is wrong, I've been suffering from an extremely swollen stomach accompanied by regular bouts of light headed dizziness.
I was only 4 weeks gone when both my sister and mum asked me if I was pregnant because my stomach had expanded so much. I now look like i'm well into my 2nd trimester, I never had this with my other 2 pregnancies. Could this be a sign that something is wrong? I've not stopped working out either so it's not just weight gain.

Rather than asking on here, I would suggest you get yourself to your GP and get checked over just in case.

Agree with @bouncydog- Internet forum not where I’d ask!! Ring your GP and just wanted to say good luck and congratulations 💐

Bloating in pregnancy is normal, especially in the first and early second trimester, that was one of my first symptoms of pregnancy this time. If your worried then go to doctor. It wont be baby making you 'look' pregnant it's the effect of the pregnancy hormones.

seensome · 14/08/2020 16:24

Probably just the pregnancy hormones, you can show a lot sooner than the first.
I remember being about 10 weeks pregnant when people were asking if I was pregnant because of an obvious bloated bump on my slim frame and boobs that grew were much bigger than by usual B cups. Couldn't keep it a secret at all!
Unless there is Pain or bleeding try and not worry too much. You never know there might be two in there!

I was visibly pregnant in week 7 of my second pregnancy and the midwife asked if there were twins in the family.

Everything was fine except I struggled more and I was bigger then with my first, even though the first was almost a kilo heavier.

Best bet though is to ask your midwife.

JanetandJohn500 · 14/08/2020 16:38

Maybe it's twins or triplets!

Light headedness and a very early baby bump at 7 weeks meant twins for me 🤣
