When to say you love someone

Been dating this guy for over a month but when I met him I had this instant feeling. We have this intense connection. We’ve have had the exclusive chat which he started. We’ve both almost said I love you I’m sure little slip ups here and there. If it feels right should I just say it or is it way to soon I don’t want to put him off. It’s a crazy feeling I can’t describe I feel like it’s love at first sight. I get on so well with him and haven’t felt this happy or better about myself around anyone.

For anyone wanting an update he asked me to be his girlfriend and we said we both have really strong feelings for each other the love word was mentioned and talked about too. I’m so happy right now with it all. I find him absolutely amazingly attractive funny and sweet I stayed at his on Sunday and he rubbed my tummy and back for me all night as I wasn’t feeling great because of a condition I have. Absolutely on cloud 9 feeling so lucky to have met him.

How lovely is this thread - just adding in a further nice story - my Dad asked my Mum to marry him 3 weeks in, said he knew when he first saw her - they have just celebrated 64 years of marriage. When it’s right, it’s right. Enjoy OP.

Op I'm in a similar situation, we startling taking start of June, spoke every single day for a while month before meeting early July and made it official 3 weeks later. I'm now feeling exactly how you are and we've both hinted at the love thing but neither have the balls to say it.

It's a tough thing because I can't compare it to the love I had to my previous long term relationship (who I actually hate now). But my feelings are so so strong and he's perfect in every way.

Whatever you feel, whether it be love or something you can't even describe, I think we should all say it xx
