Dodgy landscape gardeners

Is it just me? Been ripped off by two now!
Not sure if lockdown and increased need for people improving their gardens as resulted in lots of gardener wannabees doing a crap job!

My dp is one. He's just done a job and was one of 6 quotes. The garden was covered in mares tail. The family he worked for said that 4 of the company's couldn't identify the weed. The other one said they didn't know how to deal with the manhole cover and was just going to pave round it. So they are out there and it really pisses dp off because he's fighting a battle with clients who all think his price is a rip off or that he is a cowboy.

You could always check to see if they are APL accredited. You may pay more, but it's worth considering.

But yes so many dodgy ones that it taints the good ones.
