Non molestation order - anyone applied for one

Looking at getting a non molestation order against my ex. He was extremely abusive while together and now he is using handover's to continue this abuse by intimidating me, along with his family, being verbally abusive and agressive.

The police referred me to the NCDV however they cannot help as I've got legal aid and my solicitor said unless him assaults me or threatens to in the last two weeks there she'd be hard pressed to get legal aid to allow her to apply for one. So it looks like I may have to do this myself. I have evidence of his behaviour along with witnesses but how easy are they to actually apply for an obtain?

Well I had the court phone call about two weeks back. Judge was really polite. Ex tried to lie and say he was sorry but agree to some of the abuse as he didn't see it as abuse and had some silly excuses.

That was after having no contact with him for 6 months but that was because he was on bail and I felt I would be safer if no contact could happen for additional time.

It was mainly questions to him and how I felt about what he said. It was easy enough. A lot easier than talking to the police!!! Who decided to drop the charges.

Only thing you need to consider is how you will do hang overs without contact and what he will do as a response.
Mine ex withdrew his wage so CMS bounced back.
