My local police force have declined this as I’m no longer in a relationship with my husband.

So, they won’t disclose in case I’ll get back together. Or to protect our children.
Is this right?

They won't disclose as you are not in a relationship with him I assume therefore not at risk.
If you got back with him, then could apply
