Is your marriage over? Or will it pass? Anyone just not acted on it and got over it

Your marriage is absolutely not over. You are a human being with feelings and you have caught feelings for someone else. No one is a robot. Acknowledge it and let it pass. Could you have a look at your own relationship to see if anything is missing? Quite often if you look closely enough you will find the thing you are chasing is not apparent in your primary relationship. If you choose for the crush you have to pass it will in time. However, if you act upon it then, well, there are plenty of MN stories on here to read about that.

It will pass. Avoid that person like the plauge and it will go. Dont act on it. It will just end in tears

I think it’s pretty normal to have phases where you feel bored and tempted to cheat. It’s how you address it.
It’s never a good idea to act on it, it will only lead to heartbreak.
Better to ask yourself why you are tempted. Often it’s just boredom.

Remove all temptation, don’t allow yourself to be near someone you are tempted to cheat with.

Thanks the tricky thing is I work with him. Sit next to each other. Do I change jobs?

If it means you save your marriage and your mental health then maybe changing jobs is the best thing. Give it time though, you might get over the crush without changing jobs.

Oh, you get over it. If you can move desks or departments or something, it might help.

It’ll pass op!
