Do you think I've blown it with him?

Hello.
I've been seeing a guy since January.
We haven't had the "where are we going discussion" yet.
Lately he's changed towards me.
He isn't wanting to speak as much and I get a feeling he thinks he can take the mick.
We speak every day and text also.
He disappeared for a week.
Nothing total radio silence.
I text him 4 times and he looked at them and ignored them.
So 8 days later he texts "what a nice day,the vodka is calling my name"
So without thinking I replied
"Are you speaking to me? Because you couldn't be arsed with me for the past 8 days ..don't bother speaking to me now"
Was I too harsh ?

He's a twat and doesn't deserve a reply to that!

PumpkinP · 20/06/2020 15:04

How many more posts about this?

??

Knucklehead101 · 20/06/2020 15:08

I'm speaking with previous experience (not with your bf obviously!) Please end this now it will save you a lot of heartache.

HS24 · 20/06/2020 15:27

No you haven't blown it with him, he's blown it with you.
If he's into you, you'd be something a bit more serious by now. You can keep him as a texting friend but keep your options open now for a new guy

BluebellForest836 · 20/06/2020 15:36

You should of replied

‘Who’s this’

But I’d reply something like

Nah, you were just an utter twat and ‘Don’t text me anymore, I’m seeing someone new’

Smallsteps88 · 20/06/2020 15:50

No, he blew it with you.

Smallsteps88 · 20/06/2020 15:50

You should of replied

‘Who’s this’

Yep!

Boireannachlaidir · 20/06/2020 16:11

You should have ignored it but too late now and please don't be asking if you were too harsh or if you've blown it. He's not worth a second more of your time.

Prayerwheel · 20/06/2020 16:16

You're asking if you were 'too harsh' and if you've 'blown it'??? How do you think you should have replied? 'Hi darling, I'm waiting in for you in my best underwear'?

JustJayne69 · 20/06/2020 16:16

Haven’t you already posted this ?

Vgtasd · 20/06/2020 16:20

You said exactly the right thing, he's taking the mick, I wouldn't waste anymore time on him x

RLEOM · 20/06/2020 16:46

Oh, God, he sounds like an abusive asshole. I'm glad you've decided to finish with him, nothing good will come from this man.

PhilipJennings · 20/06/2020 18:43

You're well rid!!

user1481840227 · 21/06/2020 00:16

@swampriver

You know what the cheeky git has just replied "You haven't gone crazy with the crazy messages have you "

So basically if you call someone out on shitty behaviour your crazy
I'm finished with him.

Oh he's one of them then!!

You did the right thing finishing with him.
