Anyone have any experience? Just joined, slim pickings but seems to be a couple of gems in amongst the dross. Faces on there I've seen on ALL the date sites...
Feels quite clunky like I can't swipe past without either Xibg or sending some sort of message. I can't favourite someone, I am using the free version tho.

I used hinge when I first started into online dating back in early February. I really liked it, because you are the one who can initiate the messaging, so whilst you may get lots of likes - you won’t get hundreds of desperate messages!

I did subscribe as it gives more flexibility and ability to message. I actually also really enjoyed using it, as I think the way the profiles are set up, with the questions you answer, make it easy to get to understand someone.

And....it was a success! Three rubbish dates, but then met hopefully mr right, we had four dates pre lockdown, now message every day, have done socially distanced walking, and garden visits, and can’t wait to be able to carry it on properly!

@Freefalling123 that's really positive. I've only found one decent conversationalist so far, small town! One mentioned bed iin histhird message annd another responded by sending his number and just saying 'text me'!

Something I was wondering was does your profile still show if you are inactive?

And if someone doesn’t like you, do they still show up in your potential matches?

I find it really confusing to be honest!

@pepperpots I have no idea! I've been virtually matched with 7 men. Once I have 'spoken' to them they no longer show in my search. Ergo I can only now see three men in my subsequent searches

I think it’s really confusing! In theory it should be better than bumble or tinder, but I find it hard to understand.

I was looking at someone earlier, needed to go away for 5 mins, came back and I lost him! I have no idea if he’ll pop back up again
