Feeling lost and vulnerable after divorce

Wonderrat2020 · 28/05/2020 09:00

I don't know whether it's because of lockdown and having had a lot of time to mull things over..... but after being divorced for 3 years (not my choice) I feel a bit lost.

I've started to really miss the that secure feeling of being a family but not sure why I'm feeling so bereft suddenly after all these years?

Is this normal?

Sorry to hear you're feeling low.

Without knowing the details of your situation, I would just say that divorce is one of the most traumatic things to go through. Any reaction you have to it is "normal". It can take years to process something like this. Be kind to yourself and don't expect your reactions to follow a predictable and linear thread.

Have you had counselling?
