Does anyone know what these outgoing calls could be?

Last night husband very restless couldn't sleep, so got up during night. He then proceeded to come back to bed when I got up about 8am and slept till 1pm. This is really out of character for him. All afternoon he's been really quiet and tbh I've been abit pissed off with him staying in bed all morning when we had planned to sort the garden out so I've been abit off too and just carried on all day sorting kids and garden myself.

So grabbed his phone to just check if anything there from last night.

At 2.10am there was 7 outgoing calls to this number "844 4744"

Googling doesn't bring up anything, do you have any idea?

It looks like its missing the dialling code... what does it say if u ring it?? Unless its a crisis line or the Samaritans, it’s really bloody dodgy.

Yeah I think the shame missing some sort of area code. Just says call failed when I try to call x

Maybe he fell asleep on his phone and it pressed a load of numbers.

Doesn't sound like an actual number without the code. Maybe he was sitting on the phone and it was dialling without his knowledge

Googling brings up a university in Alabama with an American area code. The only way you wouldn’t need an area code would be if the number is from your locality and even then I think you always need an area code on a mobile so if suspect what other PPs have said about pocket dialling!

Some of the 'dating' and adult sites allow people to pay for membership or other services via a premium rate call. Do you have access to the bill to see if these calls were charged for?

Is there a lack of trust in the relation already? Can’t imagine the 1st thing I’d want to do after a one off odd night is check my partners phone and then their phone bill. Stress at work? home? Money worries

Could be a number password for something and he has called it so he has it saved

Did you check the contacts? I could add a contact to my phone under a number instead of a ‘name’ so that in MY phone 844 4744 would ring a mobile number. All that would show in the call history is the ‘name’ and not the exact number dialled!
