Partner won’t leave

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has any info for me on where I stand with my situation? So me and my partner have been together nearly fifteen years, we have two children. The past couple of years our relationship has been horrendous to the point I dread coming home. My partner doesn’t come near me anymore, he doesn’t sleep, he goes in really horrible moods for days and spends absolutely no time with me or the children and the little time he spends with me he’s telling me he hates me and the reason he is so nasty is because he’s with me and if he wasn’t with me he would be a better person, he will never tell me why he behaves like this toward me. He says all this then refuses to leave. I feel completely trapped I’m now considering where me and my children can move to but having no money and no family with a big enough house to put me and my two children up I really don’t know what to do. I can apply to the council and wait for a house to come up but I’m sure that will take years and i don’t think I could cope another month let alone years. Please someone give me some advice

Sorry you're going through this it sounds terrible.

Firstly...is the house you're currently in rented or owned? If it's rented, is it through the council?

Has your partner ever been aggressive or threatening?

We live in a council house we are bothon the tenancy. He has never hurt me physically but he does throw things and break things
