She told everybody 3 secrets about me , that only she knew, then lied about it when confronted.
So why do i feel the guilty one.
She was also telling me other peoples business as well and making everything a drama.

I dumped three toxic friends last year - one was very self absorbed and selfish and I couldn't take it any longer; one became quite controlling and would message me for hours on end demanding to know why I wasnt replying, what I was doing and who I was with; the last just 'turned on me' - made spiteful comments and finally physically assaulted me. These were my three closest friends - that last once, I'd been close friends with for nearly a decade but he just changed.

You feel guilty because you enforced a boundary and women have it drummed into us to 'be nice' and feel we have to make an effort and put others before ourselves so we feel guilty when we prioritise ourselves.

You did the right thing.
